Timeline of Events

  • 1998: The first ever prototype of Companion Robots, robot friends to assist the Toons of Toontown with various daily tasks, begins development.
  • 2001: The original Companion Bot prototype malfunctions during its first test, worrying its creator, who deactivates him and eventually moves on.
  • Early 2003: The prototype is accidentally reactivated, beginning to malfunction once more. Its faulty programming leading it to believe that the true way to help Toontown is through the means of creating a business to maintain it, this causes it to create more robots like itself, founding the company known as COGS Incorporated.

  • Mid 2003: Flippy Doggenbottom is elected the president of the Toon Council, he then creates the Toon Resistance, meant to combat the recent Cog Invasion.
  • Late 2003: The Toon Resistance discovers a massive Headquarters of the Cogs being built near Daisy's Gardens, the first ever mission to infiltrate Sellbot HQ begins.

  • Early 2005: Once again a Cog Headquarters is discovered by the Resistance, serving as a transporation outpost for Cog resources and money, Cashbot HQ becomes the new target of the Toons.

  • Late 2005: Flippy passes on the role of Toon Resistance leader to his most trusted friend, Lord Lowden Clear.
  • 2006: The Headquarters of the Lawbots is discovered by the Toon Resistance when one of its members is taken for a trial by the Chief Justice.

  • 2007: The Chairman of the Cogs, formerly the Companion Bot Prototype, begins his work on a secret project with a Cog named Cheryl, designated the Chief Scientific Officer.
  • 2008: Bossbot Headquarters is discovered, and the Toon Resistance begins to plan a mission to invade the CEO's Clubhouse.

  • 2009: The Resistance's mission to storm Bossbot HQ ends in the disappearance of a Resistance Ranger, Lucky.
  • Early 2011: Flippy's daughter, Starlight, shows interest in joining the Toon Resistance. At the same time, the Cogs bring to light a new project, called Sellbot Field Offices.

  • Early 2012: Ex Resistance Ranger Lucky, now turned Half-Cog by the Chief Scientific Officer's secret Cogtoon Project, is promoted to Chief Technical Officer.
  • Late 2012: Resistance Ranger June storms the C.S.O's office in search for her missing friend, destroying the scientist for the first time, but finds no trace of Lucky.
  • Early 2013: Flippy goes out on an important mission to Cog Nation to gather information on COGS Inc. and their future projects, but does not return.
  • Late 2013: Starlight joins the Resistance in an effort to find out more about her missing father, she gets assigned to investigate an abandoned section of the Sellbot Factory, as to find more intel on old Cog Projects. She ends up befriending 3 scrapped Skelecogs left in the factory, only known as A, B and C, who begin to help her in finding more information about Flippy.
